The iphone is honestly the best phone i have ever owned
My mobile phone from the 70s (the size of a briefcase) is still in perfect working order, although trying to find compatible service is problematic.
Best wishes to the PB community. Thank you for the memories. ♥️

I'll take my Samsung Knack over an iPhone any day. It allows me to send and receive voice and text calls, and to be honest, that's all I really need a phone to do.

These phones that try to do everything including wiping your butt are a bit ridiculous to me.

Now that's my kind of phone! One that nobody calls!

To me, Apple is QuickTime, or the MOV format. MOV is the essence of that company, and they can go to hell with their
pad-lock strategy, and take all of their i-gadgets with them for all i care. :)

So did anyone get an iPad when they were finally available yesterday.

As much as I hate Apple I might have been tempted if it had been the same size as the Kindle but at about the same size as the Kindle DX it's too big for my tastes and I suspect that its size will end up being one of its biggest cons unless you are used to carrying around a page sized folder/folio or more all the time.

No flash on this iPad thing and with Steve Jobs throwing mud at Adobe
that flash video is supposed to be slower than html-5 video. Technically
it is already proven that the latest flash performes better than html-5.

Maybe Apple knows how to sell but that might just say something about
who is buying and falling for it, like some of you in this thread.

It's easy to say that Flash is dead but what are the equal alternatives ? We all know that flash is a de facto standard
running on 95 % of all browsers worldwide. What's wrong with flash ? If I want to make a webpage with both good
functionality and slick looks the choice is easy with flash and actionscript.

If you don´t want to reply on a question then simply don´t.

No need to come back with a ooh so political correct forum attitude
about you preventing a flamewar. That is just killing a discussion or
running away from it and that is not what this thread is about.
