- Added: Vista compatibility (fully comptiable with UAC), except for Sprite library (planned for 4.20)
Why is the sprite library not compatible with Vista? Is it a DX issue?

Oh and thanks for a great release!

Happy day.

I just read every message that precedes mine under this annoucement. And I can now confirm my first impression: more than 50% of this PB userbase are certifiably crazy !!!

Many thanks to the PB Team for all their good work.

( You know what would be really useful? a link, at the top of these forum pages, to the PB pages where we can download the latest version... The Purebasic Logo, top left, would be perfect for that.)

Have the LiveUpdate feature been removed or am I just really tired?

Thanks Fred for the new (to me) /resource commandline implementation.
Saves me the trouble with reasm+porc stuff and so on.

If i may suggest 2 things..

1)
Using the /EXE + /DLL or /EXE + /CONSOLE parameters are somewhat odd.
For example, i would expect using /DLL only.
This is no big issue of course but i had to read the example for DLL's a few times before i understood.
(I thought it was a combination of executing an exe to load the just compiled dll)

2)
For console there is no example.
Maybe you can ever make some time to make a few more example lines in this part of the help.

Thanks,

You can click on the "Back to PureBasic" text at the top of the forum to get to the Homepage which is certainly good enough for me ;)

I guess the password page could be linked ?!

Edit: By the way, great release, all of my current code compiles a treat :)

Now, let's get started on the Beta of 4.20, I have two projects on hold as I need the DX9 code to progress, Bring it on! :D
