Thanks Denis, this is also happening to me (under XP), will try your solution.
And yes, thanks Blueznl, I would be lost without your wonderful CodeCaddy!

Still working on the next version...

New version v1.19x build 589 14.06.09 save 7071.
- converted to 4.31
- some unicode fixes
- install works again (or should work again, no problems here, but never can tell...)
- codesync still needs to be fixed! (working on it now...)
Be aware, this is the first version with full Unicode support... Well, you have numbered backups, so you should be fine

I'd like some feedback from people that use Unicode.

Hey DoubleDutch, are you planning to go and serve the mame crowd with your USB controllers?

Do you mean the PSX keyboard controller?
That was a keyboard for the PSX (so you could plug in a PC keyboard to a PSX) for a Spectrum emulator (and also a BASIC interpreter) I wrote for it.
I wrote a few arcade emulators too for the PSX - they all used a z80 cpu emulator I wrote - so they used real arcade ROM images - kinda like Mame. Mine was a lot smoother than Mame normally is though 'cause it ran a 60fps on a real tv. Phoenix, etc looked and played EXACTLY the same as the original if you turned your tv on its site! lol!
See:

Here is the BASIC:

If you want a bit of a laugh - look at the slideshow at the bottom of this link:

It's one of my mates - James - at my back door - smokin' ... (what though? - his eyes look a bit dazed)

No, I was refering to the PIC32 Controllers part of your site.

Ahh! The Pic32 stuff.
I am doing some work on that, but thats for a BASIC stamp kind of thing. It's on hold while I'm busy with a new website project.

Well, if you have anything on that PIC32 I'm interested, if only for fun, little comercial use in this specific case... (Althouh I'm into building automation lately, never can tell actually...)

New version v1.22x build 633 15.06.09 save 7168.
- updated x_lib damaged find feature, fixed
- updated UTF8 unicode issue, fixed
- codesync still needs to be fixed! (working on it now...)
Note: I thought I found a bug in PureBasic, but it was a wrong assumption on my side regarding BOM headers. Should be fixed now... This unicode stuff can be quite confusing.

New version v1.28x build 652 19.06.09 save 7313.
- install works again (I hope)
- codesync working again (yes!)
- fixed some case dependencies
Thanks prof_big_bang and AlphaSound for testing. To all: that doesn't mean this code is flawless, use at your own risk etc. etc. etc.

Hi blueznl,
i 've installed the new version of codecaddy (v1.56x build 706 20.09.09 save 7557).
I use PB 4.40 beta 3, windows X86, Vista home edition and the official IDE.
I don't know if the problem i get comes from codecaddy or from Purebasic IDE.
I'm french and i use accentuated vowels (it's like that in french) and after i reformat my codes With codecaddy, all accentuated vowels are changed.
Take a look to the images below
The first one show the right code and the other one the changes done after reformating (in red).
Any idea ?
