I would go through them and choose what to keep and what to throw away, I'd want to keep some of them just to remember good times, but I wouldn't need to keep all of them....

Keep the photos you want to keep.
And as for your girlfriend, if she's jealous of photos... Man are you in a world of hurt later when you happen to "glance" at some "skirts" on the street.

I can't comment until I have seen the pictures of the old girlfriends to determine if they are worth keeping or not.
