Thanks for your interest.

If you order 15 or more copies from the site where my book is being sold, then it will automatically give you a bulk discount. The discount varies but i've roughly calculated that it will give you a discount of about 16.1% off. That's $31.88 per book, instead of $37.99. Is this what you meant?

You can read more about the pricing policy here:

http://help.cafepress.com/hc/s-74058960 ... ategory=28

I think it applies the discount to the final amount when you checkout.

If you want a bulk discount for Purebasic itself, you'll have to speak to Fred. :)

Great! Let me ask some of my friends who are working at the colleges here in my state. BTW, I saw a copy of learning PureBasic but it was written by another Malaysian in the Malay language. I flipped thru the book that explains simple programming techniques that I feel were helpful to those who are more fluent in Malay. :)

I think I want to write a book too.

Nice book - had a look into some sources - found only one small issue (I think it was on page 129 or so) - the StopAudioCD() should be moved some lines up (direct under the 'until' statement)...

Does any one have a quick review for this book yet? I'd be very interested in seeing other's opinions on it. :D

I ordered my copy on Thu 3rd, and just got an e-mail now (Sat 5th) stating:

Your package is sent via UPS Mail Innovations International. Tracking is
not available for this shipping method.

That's a bit scary! Fingers crossed that it doesn't go missing.
I compile using 5.31 (x86) on Win 7 Ultimate (64-bit).

I just bought a copy for myself.

Best of luck with the profits. It looks like you are your way to some good sales figures.

Yes, but I'm more worried that if it goes missing internationally, it can't be
tracked to locate it. That was the point I was making. I've had mail go
missing in the past, you see. Do you have any control over which couriers
to use? If so, try to get them to use one that can track items, as it would
make people more relaxed.

Also, is there a PDF version that purchasers can get a copy of? Would be
handy for reading when not at home etc.

Hopefully nothing will go missing, but i guess it's something to take up with cafepress if something does go wrong, as it's up to them what shipping method they use.

Nope. I did think about making a PDF copy available (in fact i'm looking at one now) but due to file sharing problems, i'm afraid that option isn't going to be implemented.

I'm thinking that further down the line (one or two years) i'll probably release the book in PDF format as a free download for all PB users, but thats in the future when i've sold a few books.
