I gave some, not as much as I'd like to, but I'll donate again when I'm flush. To see this kind of effort from a language developer is just unprecedented. Most bugs reported today are fixed today and released within a week max. Some take longer for sure, but the team couldn't possibly try any harder. They're already giving it everything.

Maybe you've got the AdBlock extension and it's removed it? Because it
shows fine for me with v1.0.7 (although I use v1.5.0.1 now too).
Nope - not running adblock.
Use very few extensions - viewsource, roboform, webdeveloper, sessionsaver.
Options set to allow images.
But still no "donate" button.
If I "mouseover" the spot, the cursor changes, so I can select it, it just doesn't show up in the browser window.
Works fine on ie, just not my firefox 1.0.7.
No big deal, just noted it in case it was something on the server/html side that might keep potential donaters from noticing it. HTML has been known to work differently in different browsers
cheers

The idea of donating to PureBasic is really confusing. It is commercial, and from the looks of the buy page, that hasn't changed.
What's the deal with "donating"?

Have you ever worked with someone who went the extra mile on a project or something, and you bought them a beer that friday?
Same idea...

PureBasic is easily worth more than I paid, but I'm very happy that I could afford PB. So if I can I donate a little bit money. I feel like I owe the PB team some extra money. At least for 4.0.

I'm donating because I think PureBasic is worth
alot more than what Fred is charging for it. Fred and the team are doing such a great job and putting in so much time on the project that $69 is really a joke. I mean, not only do you get PureBasic, you also get great support from the team
and on top of that, you get every new version for
free.
When was the last time you got a new version of Windows for free? Or Office? Or Visual Basic/Studio? And they charge you quite alot more than Fred does!
So if we all donate a little I'm hoping we keep Fred and the team happy and willing to keep working on PureBasic! Because honestly, how willing would
you be to spend day after day, year after year, on something that nobody paid you for more than once?

I would rather keep the price low like it is and donate when I can. This allows more people to enjoy PureBasic.
