Okay, I think I see what you guys have done.
First if I may make a suggestion. Droopy you have a link in your signature to the version for PB 3.94! That's what threw me off. No mention of the version for PB 4, that I saw.
Also, I see one also needs to copy the old help file from 3.94 version over to their help directory in PB 4 and then add in the ASCII or Unicode (but not both) into their User Libs directory.
aka.
C:\Program Files\PureBasic\PureLibraries\UserLibraries
Put Droopy_ASCII into that path above.
Ah ha! No more problems it seems. I will test it further.
Can you guys do that .cab installer again?
Thanks again for helping me to focus on the problem and figure out a solution.

i'll see what i can do

(and it wasnt a 'cab' installer that i knew of...)
i might also make a program that either switches the versions of the lib automatically depending on whether unicode is enabled or not, or if i can't manage that, make one that will prompt you

Thanks lexvictory. The lib is working just fine still for me. That's much appreciated. Thanks in advance for taking a look at the .cab feature for future versions.
