I'll release another tech demo soon, just ironing out a few bugs first

haha lol @ orgasm! basically when resizing the window ive mannaged to sync the window to a single refresh with some pretty nifty coding! so all the gadgets inside arn't jumping everywhere and flickering! (perfectly synced to the window resize!)

In my app i'm redrawing the tree and listicon gadgets myself using the callback, will your lib/dll support this?

Also are non-xp computers supported?

I guess that the crowd want a beta release, not a demo

ProGUI doesn't intefere with any other callbacks so you should be ok. The resizing code should in effect complement whatever resizing callbacks u have running but I will need to test this. As for back compatibility with older os's it should be fine but again I will need to test it out on some older machines as I may be using some newer API calls.

Thanks for quick reply, can't wait to see the demo (but a beta would be nicer)

Hi Ani-chan!
Just settled into my new digs at uni! currently waiting for our net connection to be installed (having to use Uni comps at the mo which sucks) so i can't upload anything yet, should have a new demo for u shortly though.
I know a lot of you are anctiously awaiting the release of ProGUI but it shouldn't be long now until i have it ready!
Thanks for all your patience!
Chris.

Hi Ani-chan
I'm gunna release a time limited beta pretty soon so people can start testing it out with their apps and of course iron out bugs and add new features. I've just got to wrap the code up into a DLL and write some includes for the DLL but that shouldn't take me long. Been pretty busy with Uni work at the mo but it's reading (beer) week now

so should give me some free time.
If any 1 wants to see the power of ProGUI in action check out a commercial app I wrote for IRCSpy.com called DCC Manager. Unfortunately you must install some adware in the installer for it but you should be able to extract DCC Manager from the setup.exe or just uninstall the adware once you have DCC Manager installed.
http://www.ircspy.com/DCCManager/setup.exe
Some of the things to test out the power of ProGUI are:-
* Super smooth window resizing (smother than any app i have ever seen)
* Extended vertical resizing of Rebars, check out the system log button.
* Right click popup menu with large alpha menu icons
* Alpha icons in menus
* loads of other stuff that i can't remeber, just try out the app and see for yourself, everything you see in the app is possible in ProGUI.

I took a look at it, its really smooth!
Is it going to be a dll or a library?

I got it to crash, right click the toolbar - then while right clicked - do a left click! Lockup.

Hi DoubleDutch
"I got it to crash, right click the toolbar - then while right clicked - do a left click! Lockup. "
Yea it's a known issue with toolbars, dead easy to fix, will be fixed in the beta
Currently wrapped half the library into a DLL, seams to be working well!
Should have the beta released pretty soon!
