Is the forum slow for you ?

Everything else that doesn't fall into one of the other PB categories.

What I did notice now is that the "yesadvertising" add takes long to load. Guess I will edit my "hosts" file to make it (banner.paypopup.com) point to myself. Should make loading faster.

Ok, ads are now gone so surfing is back to normal with IE too. So the forum seems 100% operational again, if you have any problem, please tell it to me !

@Fred
The old server was always very fast or very slow. It went both ways but delays were very frequent. I've been to this new server twice now and both times it seems to be fast.

Couple new issues not seen on old server.

1. Had to open up firewall to this new server MORE than the old server so I could login again. Server is being more intrusive than necessary. :evil:

2. When I do a search and click on any link from the results page, I cannot click "Back" to return to my search results. Every time I get a blank page that will not refresh so I have to repeat my search for each subtopic I want to view. This is a real nuisance. :cry:

Other than that, I seen a few nice subtle changes. :)

1. What have you changed to your firewall ? It's all HTTP, I don't understand, I've a firewall too and didn't changed anything.

2. It works perfectly here (FireFox - XP-SP2).

firewall?!? this is regular http, shouldn't matter at all, unless you have some fancy packet inspection or something similar turned on...

i can use 'back' as much as i like, i fear it's an issue on your side, mister walker :-)

Randy Walker: You shouldn't have had to alter any firewall settings. If I were you I would check ur system for spyware or trojans!
