=- PUREBASIC OGRE TOOLS =-

Many newcommers and oldcommers find it hard to convert models to PureBasic Ogre compatible meshes.

Specially because PB uses version 1.6 of Ogre, which is old, and it's mesh format is not compatible with the new exporters that exist on the Ogre Wiki Pages.

But there are good news!

It's called DeleD.

DeleD is now freeware, and it has an Ogre Mesh exporter plugin that works with Purebasic 4.50 Ogre version.

You can download both plugin and Deled here: http://www.delgine.com/

The work flow i use is:

Favorite modeling program -> Export as .obj -> DeleD Import Obj -> Export has Ogre Mesh

Works (period) .

@Psychophanta: It seems that TeamViewer is not free.

However, Mikogo has good performance and is free, I use it often.

Hi,

since I want to run a program under XP which only gaves an error to me,
I searched for a tool like ldd for Linux.

I found:
http://www.dependencywalker.com/

A (old :D ) freeware which shows you all dependencies of an executable.
With this tool I was able to find a missing dll.

As far as I know TeamViewer is free for non-commercial use, and has the advantage of having client software for a bunch of mobile platforms (Android, iOS etc). I guess it is not totally freeware then.

Mikogo looks good for web conferencing.

EASEUS (www.easeus.com) has some nice utilities for business and home/home office.

For home/home office they have:
  • Data Recovery Wizard
  • Todo Backup (image or file and folder backups)
  • Partition Master (Partition Magic alternative)
  • Partition Recovery
  • Disk Copy
All of these home edition products are free!

Many of these products are also available in business class editions which are not free but they do offer free trial versions.

(I may have already mentioned the ToDo Backup in this thread, if so, please accept my apologies for the duplicate mention)

When upgrading from Windows XP to Windows 7 I noticed several icons missing. I grabbed the old icon files moricons.dll, progman.exe and shell32.exe and extracted all icons using NirSoft Icons Extractor. Good for stealing stuff :-)
