Asked in another thread a while ago why with SpiderBasic the "internet client" becomes the desktop and not the window.
To me it does not make sense to have several windows floating inside an "internet client".
It makes more sense to only allow gadgets in the "internet client".
However, I could be wrong...

Could someone come up with an explanation?
Thanks in advance.

I am to provide the public with beneficial shocks.

You are able to open a window as "background window" to cover the whole web browser client area,
and directly place gadgets on it. See example using #PB_Window_Background flag
So both ways are possible. Floating "tool windows" and a background window that covers the whole area.

The beta 1 is out and brings support for OS X and Linux ! The commandset is also pretty complete for the v1.00, so don't hesitate to test and reports issues on the spiderbasic forums (forums.spiderbasic.com)

Please uses the spiderbasic forum for such report, thanks. BTW, Opera 12 seems like an old version, we will support only lastest browser version.

Sorry, but I have not registered.

Release was 23/04/2014. Is it an older version?
In addition, this version is still often used and if it is not supported, then it casts doubt on the project SpiderBasic.
Would you use a programming language, if supported by few browsers? This failure of SB!

Well I don't know why I answer this, as you will probably never use SB (and to be honest I don't care), but the lastest version of Opera is 22.0, your very old version is just a maintainance release. Also, Opera is 1.7% according to this: http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_stats.asp, so if we can have a language working on 98.3% of the webbrowsers, it's fine with me.

Maybe someone registered there can copy and paste your questions from here to there, and any reply you get from there to here.

I think it's the best solution.
"Have you tried turning it off and on again ?"

Latest Opera is 23! And as it is using Chromium since v15, there is no need to worry about support any longer. :)

As I didn't read the complete topic, I don't know if anybody else posted the 'buggy' buttons in the first example off Fred's first post.
I have to say I still use XP with Opera, and in there the buttons (5 top left) don't show any difference clicked or pressed down and back up.
Yeah I know, but keep in mind ... Leonardo da Vinci was also an autodidact.

I will give it a try when it is possible to store datas in any way. (Database access, Cookies...)
At least for me this functions are a must have.

Looking forward to the next releases! Becoming interesting for sure!
