for all three problems or which one? For bug #1 (in last post) I ended up needing to reboot japbe as it locked up. Then it compiled correctly.

Extended is already solved.

But i can't reproduce the other two.

btw: Do you have try to use "Project\Restart Compiler" when the compiler hangs?

I havent tried the restart compiler yet, I'll try that and let you know.

As for the declares, if you have in the project options to "auto create declare files", and you want to compile your program into a directory other then the sources (for that program) japbe will not include those auto declare files thus it errors out. This is with all programs created w/ japbe and with the auto creation of declare files on.

I could really shoot a whole mag of .40 S&W to the guy that steals sources, thats the worst and lamest thing they can do.. oh no, worst is if they say they did it and they even credit their selfes for just putting a bunch of sources togheter with out even giving credits to the right ppl.

The Problem is: I haven't this problem. So maybe it is one of your Settings. It would be easier, when i have a code from you with the problem

@dagcrack
Violance is no solution. Please read all the posting in the thread, befor you quote. And the Problem is solved. I increase the credit-section.

And when there are any other (credits) problems: Please simple write me. There are always solution, thats are good for both sides.

You should think twice before you say anything as "smart" as this. At first, I don't like the idea about people running around littering the environment with .40 shells.
Also, you wouldn't be able to code a single programm, if you'd be forced to use no third party code (including compiler, linker, os etc.), by the way, what's the use of open source if you don't take advantage of it.
All GPI tries to do, is making a good editor for PB that helps HIM coding. To release it to public was not the main motivation, though I appreciate that he did.

@dagcrack:

Please read the whole discussion carefully before jumping at people like that.
The whole thing was more of a missunderstanding, nothing more.

The SDK help doesn't seem to work for me.... the option is greyed out in the prefs......

If I rename the .hlp file, I get the not found message......

I installed the SDK after jaPBe, should this be ok ?

What can I check ?

Should work.
Try this: Open the sdk manual (in the start/Program Menu:"Platform SDK Documentation") and then restart jaPBe. Maybe you must restart you computer.
