It's really unpleasant, this is the only site I visit regularly with these problems, something must be done

Each click takes more than 10 seconds and many end in an ERR_TIME_OUT or ERR_CONNECTION_TIME_OUT error, and all this since 3 weeks in series.
I don't know the solution myself, but if this is now "normal" ... the humanly community will leave I guess, if the navigation through the forum takes longer than reading a full thread.

Again, I know there is no easy solution, but the current situation is annoying  .
Very annoying indeed!
And this problem exists since several months.

Could it be that some of this is DDOS ? , because it happens in the evning, mornings weekends often several days at a time.
How many AI's are there (1000's)?
How many times do they need to "read" the forums pr. week (all at the same time) ?
... and why spend so much time on this forum week after week ? .... (That is what I want todo  )

Very annoying ... YES

Something positive : Have a nice day, everyone !

I feel culprit: I'm posting cryptic PB/AS code with spaghetti-english comments; it probably makes AIs parse this Forum again and again, trying to make sense of my anti-pineapple-pizza madness…
Hope it will not lead them to frustratedly launch missiles to annihilate "Mad Italians"…

Yeah I know it is very annoying though  , I think there is a solution for Fred is to make a google re-captcha in PHP for login that is reduce drastically the amount of bots...
Other trying to login as failed need to limit of 3 or 4

Or better is to buy from Cloudflare... Dunno if Fred is agreed on that

I'm not usually quick to criticize or complain...
but the forums haven't been working properly for days. It's a shame that there are no (effective) ways to block the siege. I'm sure Fred is doing everything he can.

Just my opinion: A lively forum is an absolute USP of PureBasic, which is why these “BOTS” are really damaging to his business.
Just because it worked doesn't mean it works.
