Thanks but still no Unicode support in visual form designer. A major issue, at least for me!

It does support unicode, but it will in practice only work when a few commands in the IDE are converted to support unicode too, which should be very soon :)

Don't know but even though coding gadgets directly in IDE works fine with Unicode captions, designer never worked for me. I hope you're right, because currently it is pretty useless for anything but Ansi.
Thanks for the info! :)

Thank you very much Fred!

These kind of releases (Bug fixes) are what I think is most important on development tools.

Having new versions with new functionality is good and welcomed, but getting what we already have made rock solid is much more important, as any developer can craft new functionality if the foundation is rock solid.

I'm currently testing the Linux x86 version and things look good so far.

Why not publish a list of the fixes?

Yup. Yup, yup yup yup! It's always a pain to guess what was fixed, and browsing the forum to look for the [Fixed] tag is not really fun :/

While I would also appreciate a precise list of what's has been fixed I don't see the need to waste Fred time on this, I would prefer for him to fix another bug.

When you report a bug, you are automatically subscribed to the topic.
When the bug is fixed, you get an email since fred/freak append a "Fixed." at the end of the thread.
If a bug you never encountered and you were unaware of has been fixed then good, but you don't get much knowing it.
If a bug someone else reported got your attention, you just need to subscribe the thread to be informed like in the first scenario.
"Have you tried turning it off and on again ?"

cool practical logic. thanks . and at the end the fixes are documented at their own threads with the word [Done] at the title

According to some tests that I made (on Windows XP 32 bit), PB 5.22 LTS Beta 2 works fine. :D
