Seems like a DDOS attack, and we can't do much to prevent such, sorry for the inconvenience.

I'm a dedicated lurker

and usually log in every morning between 5 A.M. and 7 A.M. since 2003!

I haven't had any problems in the last few weeks.

Maybe we have a direct line to France?

Just managed to get access 7:45:00 am Cet, doesn't appear to be going away.
times when the site appears down might suggest a US source.

Not necessary, it seems totally random.

My 5 cents on Search PureBasic Forum :
I experience that much more results can be found with a Google Search like this "PureBasic bitblt", in this case if bitblt is what to look for.

I hope this isn't a cause for the problems (else the solution is found then too).

Why do you think Google Search is the cause of the recent downtimes? All search engines cache the website content and perform searches on that, else they wouldn't be able to give you results that fast...

Really strange. I've never seen the PB forum to be on and offline for such a long time. Must be a pretty big attack then!
