Danilo, you have some fair points hidden away in that garbled mess of propaganda, but that's mostly what it is.
People choose how they want to treat other people, not their political systems.
Case in point? Cuba, Venezuela, the old U.S.S.R, China, North Korea
All Socialist / Communist based states. All with some of the worst track records of Human Rights ever.
Yet people still stand up and say Socialism will work. It's already been proven it doesn't matter what system you use, it won't fix a damn thing. It will just make it easier or harder for people to grab and consolidate power. I'll stick with the Democratic Republic / Capitalist idea, because at least my liberties aren't gone YET.
I don't want my country to end up like Greece. But make no mistake, the Greeks did it to themselves, with their spanding habits/demands, and lack of accountability for the public officials they now blame along with the wealthy. I would ask you to consider that.
As far as our healthcare system goes. It's not perfect, and it needs some serious changes.
But there is still a reason people from all over the world choose to come to the USA for medical treatment, whether they are a lowly "peasant" or the leader of a Nation.
If you can get access to that system, it is one of, if not the best in the World.
We need to get more Americans access to the healthcare system. But the government shouldn't be doing it for us; they should be enacting laws to help, not outright fund.
I don't want to be stuck on a waiting list for 6 months to find out I have some deadly disease that is going to kill me next Thursday. But that is exactly what we will end up with, under a nationalized system. IT won't happen to everyone, but it will happen to someone, where is the Humanity in justifying that as "still better than the old system" ??
Our Healthcare system is extremely over-taxed and we constantly hover on shortages of healthcare professionals in one field or another. Our Emergency Rooms are overtaxed by people who shouldn't even be in the Country, but we have to treat them because the Government says we have to. Nothing inherently wrong with that, but when you have millions of people stiffing the gov't that adds up. It is only a small part of the problem, but it comes together to help form the big picture of how fragile our system is.
Insurance Premiums have already gone up across the board, what's next? Nationalized Healthcare was supposed to save us Money, but everytime I hear about it, its either about some CBO report saying it will actually cost more money, or some other group saying it will save us money, or some other group saying the CBO really said it will save money now.
IMHO this whole Administrations agenda is to just frustrate the shit out of people (the right) as well as their base (the left) and promote some kind of Apathy so that we just don't care anymore and god knows what they will do to take more power at that point.
