Why isn´t PureBasic Package copy protected ?

Everything else that doesn't fall into one of the other PB categories.

Here are some protectors for non-commercial markets worth mentioning that will work with PureBASIC:
-TheMida 2.1.2.0+
-Safengine 1.8.0.0+
-Hasp 5.0+
I may be mistaken but I thought some older versions of HASP were succussfully cracked (don't know about newer versions), and SafeEngine also. Same with Themida, and it gets detected by some AV software, which is a problem with inexperienced users who may not want to use software packed with it.

But that would then only apply to new customers. People who bought it and
were told they can have free updates for life are not subject to any new
license. Morally, anyway: Fred could of course refuse to give those old
customers any new versions, but then you know what would happen.
I compile using 5.31 (x86) on Win 7 Ultimate (64-bit).
