Sounds like like a few weeks of very bad luck.
....Is the car manufacturer bankrupt world-wide or just in your region? You should be able to get help from them some how.
Not sure about your country but in the UK the Insurance Company (and possibly the Local Authority fire service) will investigate the cause - if the scooter caused the fire through faulty design/manufacture, then other owners need to be informed of the danger.

As for fire investigation, there was one from the local police, one from my insurance company,
and one from the chinese manufactorer, which haven't showed up yet.

Update, our little electric car is online again, after three months's of sitting outside
the local e-mobile pusher repair shop.
They finally got their PC diagnostic sw updated, logged onto the car, and replaced the
main traction battery, so now it works again.
The old battery is to be fixed by an american gentleman from the batt-factory, so things are
much brighter now!
