lol Doc, my wife "reads between the lines" quite a lot, and 90% of the time she's completely wrong!!
and yes, hence the name, but its more along the lines of LuaDeveloper, but Devoted will do as well
lua is great, pretty useless on its own and it does not offer any thing PB can not do already, but it does enable me to script my apps and edit these apps without a recompile, i have one generic runtime that runs our company and reacts depending on what script we tell it to run, also editing DB structures and interfacing with MySQL is done on the scripting side, if i had to recompile the main app and reinstall it on every machine every time we made a change id never get home at night, all we do is edit the script and upload it to a local MySQL server and every machine in the office has access to it ..... the power of text, lol
i say to old, im 35 but im a busy man, iv a 9 to 5 which usually ends up being 9 to 7, 2 young kids and a demanding misses ... if im not to old im to busy, and if im not to busy im to tired
lol, C64, i had one, i played games on it, thats it, i only started programming about 7 years ago so im still a noob, and thats the reason i stick to what i know, PureBasic
anyway, good luck and have fun, iv got scripts to write
