Yes, good luck!

I don`t know, what`s your real name, but maybe that would be the best choice...
- Hilton
- Ferrari
- Tom Hilfiger
- ....
They all did it...

Is there an Online-Store or something?

I think you should think about the Name and the LOGO at the same time
May be that will give you the right one

For example...

- Apple
- Google
- Coca Cola
- RottenTomatoes
Actually Coca Cola has a lot to do with what they do.
Cola is the name of the Cola bean used to add flavour.
And Coca is tied to the fact that extracts from the Coca plant is used (which Cocaine is made from too btw).

What was the original name that you can't use?

This name is probably an established business name, so tweak it a bit, and move on?

You do know they have'nt used coca in coca-cola since 1903. And Kola nuts (not related to coca) were used at one time to provide the flavor and caffeine, which is the reason the FDA in the US now has caffeine on its list of addictive substances.

Erm. You did you read the Wiki article right?
They do use Coca in Coca-Cola, just without the cocaine, the flavor (huh? wtf is "cocaine" flavour?) is kept and the cocaine is shipped to a medical refinery.
And Kola nut flavor is still used.

Maybe the article is outdated on the recepie (sp?), it doesn't say.
But we where talking about the name of a business and ties to a actual product, which Coca-Cola did have unlike the others listed in the post I quoted.

PS! Amusing tidbit, Pepsi Cola has no Cola in it at all. ;)

I wish it were that easy. I feel the current name has been damaged due to the fact that over the past couple of years, my boss has dropped the ball on quite a few jobs/customers (she's 69, forgetful, and stubborn). We have very few large order accounts left as they have all moved over to our competition. In addition top that, there is at least one other competing business in our state with a similar name. I want a fresh start and a new look. I'll be able to keep our current customer base and build from there.

@Everyone: Thanks for the name ideas. You've got me thinking again. I NEED to have this done this weekend as I am going to be filing my articles of incorporation next week.

My goal is to have a name that is easy to remember, easy to say as I answer the phone, looks good in print, is available as a .com, and has a professional sound to it. As of yet the best I have done is 4 out of 5. :(

Remember SUN the logo and the name
It has nothing related to the business
But I myself like it very much
Do not hesitate
You will be OK anyhow I am positive

Sparkie, based on what you said above, I'd let your clients know that it's under new management right away, so they won't be tempted to leave. Really stress that point in your ads and site, etc.

Simple Imprints
Impressive by design

Easy to remember and say
Looks good in print
Available as a .com
Sounds professional

I am willing to design the logo and website for small money if you want. Let me know if you like this name, I'll try and prepare a sketch for the logo and you decide if you like it or not.
