Compatibility Mode turned on. Don't laugh, it does happen. My Dad is an
example; he has several old PCs with Win 95 running old games that
refuse to run under XP and higher.

As you say...he plays OLD games...not actually written /developed games.
But I think it is not really a problem for me

We should not discuss about Win95 yes/no...It is as it is.
I have no prob with this...but I want say what I think about it

There are many businesses still running Windows 95 systems. Depending on what type of app you write, you may need to support these users.

yeah, you see them in shops sometimes as point of sale systems and stuff like that. possibly not to many home users on it now though.

I think even MS Virtual PC doesn;t fully support Win95 any more - other emulators do though.
PB: Why don't you get your Dad to use an emulator on top of XP - so he can get rid of some of the old machines. When run full screen you can't tell the difference - except that the new hardware is much faster than the old (even if ts emulating!).
