You can calculate exactly the date the beta will coming out.
Just multiply the earth radius by lightspeed value.
Then, divide it by universal constant. Multiply the sum by the current unix timestamp....
You will see.... The beta comes when it comes

There is one 3d Engine that I am very upset with, and that is ColdSteel.. bought it thinking it would be a promising product with all the features promised, but I haven't used it once.
It's just an interface to Irrlicht with a few little added extra's in my oppinion.
Leadwerks engine, i'm not too keen on either. Just seems too generic, for a high price.
I have used DBPro for a long time, and I do appreciate it has a few kinks to be worked out, speed being a major factor.
Ogre3D is by potentially the one I would settle for.
If it's free or a low price, user friendly, with a nice support staff, then I will happily use and endorse the product. If it's the predators of the development world, charging high prices, then no.

Any news about this topic?
Now 4.30 preview is out, but I'm not an Ogre expert, and I could not find documents/info about new possibilities inside updated Ogre.
Can one better explain me what's new (not a simple functions list) in this new version (compared to the "old" one)?
thank you!
