It's not your fault!!! The fact that some people has to twist and misinterpret everything you say and do is something that comes with Internet unfortunately. Just ignore them, I do when I have better things to do, which I don't at the moment
Thanks for donating!! If there was as much donating as there was bitching, Fred would be rich

If you bothered to read lad you will note that I have not attempted to twist anyone's words. At worst it's a case of 'reading between the lines'.
Anyhow, enough of this mindless drivel -you carry on blowing your own trumpet and taking a few personal swipes at those whose views you cannot abide. Such is the way of those with no other recourse.
For what it is worth, I found your original post perfectly reasonable, perfectly justified. It was your subsequent postings which I found distasteful, but that is just me. What ever you make of that means nothing to me at all.
Such is the way of it all.

Interesting expression

But when thinking about it, I guess a cow really is true

Well, dude, strange how you manage to read between the lines to give a negative view on people's intentions.

Well, atleast you proved your own point.

Then why on earth post something at all?

Donating is obviously a personal choice. No reason in arguing.

Aaron, I got a kid with a limitation, but I don't give a damn about your post. Others might though, it's somewhat... wrong.
Then again, you may want to rewrite it something like this:
Arguing on the ineternet is like running in the US Elections.
Even if you win...

I agree, which was my point exactly. It is a personal choice.
For the record, I donated very early on and have done so whenever I have been able to. I, like many others I am sure, just prefer to keep such things private though. Oh well, next time maybe.
Still, no real harm done. Worse things happen whenever I get behind the wheel of my car......

Aaron,
While I have to admit that the suprise factor of your post made me laugh, to be honest, that is extremely poor taste. I have a good friend with a down syndrome kid and I just think of what it would be like to be a PBer and see that posted as a joke if one of your own kids was down syndrome.
I would say, breach of forum rules on that one!
Can I guess you have no kids of your own?

Well, at least blueznl could see the humour in it.
I removed it regardless. Nothing mean was intended by it. Me and 'politically correct' just don't see eye to eye, that's all. I figured it was a bit of internet lore that everyone had come across before... in fact, if you do a google search for 'arguing on the internet', you'll see that pic come up first .
I have two cousins who are mentally handicapped. My mom had been the head nurse at a home for the mentally handicapped. I've spent lots of time with them. Its possible to have a sense of humour and have respect for people.

Nah, I've got three kids in fact.

Thanks for removing it.
It wasn't so much that I didn't see the humour, it's that I saw a bit more.
Maybe it's just a sore point with me. Appreciated anyway, cheers

Well theres nothing wrong for being proud and happy of donating.
Or do you feel insecure if someone else donated and you dont... ?
We all must be happy. Peace to all! ^_^
