Please write a second PureBasic book Kale.
With an update to the current state of PB and a set of more advanced topics.
You are a very talented writer. (seriously)
You should use it.

Whats up with woken? It was the IDE you talk about.
Here are the forums (found on google because the website is offline):

He is busy with a real job that pays the bills. He did say he will try to find time to work on it but, real life and work intrudes.
That's been the problem with most people who have started a visual designer of any sort. No time to do more than get it out the door.
At this moment, the only one that seems to be under active development is Gnozal's but even he admits to being incredibly busy.

Gnozal busy?
Why the lazy git never does any work; loafing around with those day-long siestas...
Hang on, I'm mistaking Gnozal and Bericko who of course lives up a tree!

Woken looked so promising and professional. Shame it's stopped development.

It's not stopped permanently but it is on hold until work settles down and i get some time to work on it. Programs like this are a lot of work for little return so my fulltime job comes first.

Hm, it depends on how you ask
For me, I would say yes...

After getting into application programming with more sophisticated gadgets and also experimenting with Visual Studio I'd like to change my vote to a resounding "yes". A tool like this would be invaluable for complex applications that use a lot of gadgets.
I'm curious if there is anyone who voted "no" and has used Visual Studio to write a windowed application.

in times of PB 3.94, jaPBe was lightyears better than the PB-IDE.
meanwhile, the differences are only marginal.
lately we had a discussion about the differences in the german board,
and it turned out that the longtime jaPBe users just weren't aware of all the new features of the IDE.
Auto-Indention is a matter of taste.
for me, I don't need it, because I prefer to insert the end of the paragraph
by double-TAB on the autocomplete and then insert the in-between code.

I used to use jaPBe back in the day. Then the PureBasic IDE caught up, and
I couldn't justify installing two sets of tools (PureBasic and jaPBe) to do my
coding, so I uninstalled jaPBe. It doesn't have any advantages for my use.

Pretty much the same here. I was an avid JaPBe user, but the PB IDE got so much better, I've just got no choice

I'd buy it. Vote cast. Yes, I know this thread is old, but someone else may be interested to do it instead of Kale, if enough votes get cast.
