My Software Company is Alpha Testing the newest version of Windows 128bit Software Code named: Wolverine. It lacks Vistas annoying features.

Nobody noticed the screenshot is called 'april.png'. I thought this would get spotted right away :D
Its fun to post news on April 1st... nobody takes you seriously, not even the Beta3 release.

Anyway, this was no joke. You can get the exe here if you want:
http://freak.purearea.net/v4/pb64.exe

Its really nothing more than a requester, as the libraries still have many problems.
And no, we are not doing any real alpha tests yet. What IceSoft said was rubbish.

Its not even sure if this will be done for 4.30.
After all, *somebody* already promised an Ogre update for that version :P

Its really just a preview... a real one though :D

That's good news. I can continue developing in C# until PB64 is out :)

Am I wrong if I think that the intel mac version will have to be 64-bit as well?

Yep, as well ;)

Unless I'm mistaken, PureBasic might very well be the first BASIC dialect to compile to native 64-bit machine code. :)

That was our tough as well, but i'm not looking the competition closely these days, so i can't really tell. And yes, it's actually mostly working, but it is not ready for public release ;).

That's great news :D

As we are talking about 64bit, another question: Is it possible (this is not a feature request, but just a simple question) to link 32bit and 64bit code to one and the same PE executable (like you can link 16bit and 32bit code together (even is the 16bit code is only used to display the message "This program cannot be run in MS-DOS." these days) ?
