There could be the problem ! Shocked
mem is soo cheap now - how come you only have 384 MB ?
I live in Romania

.
[Edit]
And i use the PC just for programming... If I played games, I'd have upgraded, but I guess there's no reason to do that...

My specs are AMD64 2800. Radeon 9600 pro 256 MB. 2GB ram. DirectX 9C. WinXP pro(SP2)
If the game runs too fast, try to go in the drivers panel to change the fixed 'no vertical sync' to 'Choose by application' or a thing like that.
For the keyboard, it seems to be a bug with sprites3D/Keyboard on AMD/ATI computers.... is a purebasic bug?? we try ( the team ) a lot of things actually and we don't know for the moment. In my code, i use simply the keyboards commands of pure, nothing more ( it's the more simple part of my code, no transformations, only the pure commands ). But with a joypad you can play without problem... We search a solution...

Game plays fine on mine (e6300 core2duo) except that it hangs the system when I try to exit. Have to cut the power to turn the computer off and restart, I expect it's a graphics card thing or maybe my firewall bringing up a requestor or something, either way I can't get back to the desktop, the windows key doesn't work or anything else.

Sorry The drivers are already set like that. I'll try it on an Intel box and see if it is any different. But the game looks pretty awesome, Kind of Jets 'n Guns crossed with many earlier games from genre.

try compatibility mode for the problem of speed ( if it's too fast ).
for the keyboard, the bug will be fix in the patch 2 ( + some bonus like mini games...

)

Hello,
I use this post to announce that BGames Live is now available in English as well as the forum
Bgames Forum
BGames Live
That will be easier for you to register and thus be able to send your best score Lethal 4 and PureBreaker 3 on the Live and scratch the first place in the rank
However the "Quoi de neuf sur le forum?" and "Et sur le blog BGames?" are not translated ... I will add a RSS later for the English part of the forum, but for the blog that will not be possible unless to make a special English one.

Oh dear. Even my video card has twice that much memory
But... to stay on topic: more memory does help programming, mainly in speed, as your system may be able to better use it's memory to cache.
However (ah, it's great to disagree with oneself

) I've done some testing of XP running on smaller systems, and anything above 192 Mb seems to be enough for basic functionality, at which moment hard drive performance becomes more important.
Then again, I was looking at seriously slow systems, like Celeron 333A's

I used to create a little windows xp file server with only 64MB. There's also a site where some people try with less memory

=) woaa i download it to test :D
