This is realy fucking cool! Never mind that you are so fast in progress with a new windows release as I thought that the pb team is currently at work on a linux one. So, suprise, suprise!! :)

First experiences: Much more stable then older versions, even the debugger seems to work better in threaded operations which is a very great benefit!!

Id also love to see the long awaited and announced drag'n'drop lib which is surely very handy. Will try it asap. The XML support is also very welcome, even if it is "only" a wrapper.

If the final is out, it's time to donate again. I will donate 1€ for every new command and 0.50€ for every wrapped one and of course 1€ for every new constant added. muhaha, the constant one was a joke, but I think 1€ for each command is okay or? :)

THANKS PB TEAM!!! Great Work!

Any idea or way to know what user libraries won't work with 4.10?

(I have several installed that I use frequently and if they're not going to work with 4.10, I'll hold off on updating until 4.10 compatible versions are available)

Basically if they work you're lucky, assume they don't.

Very, very good as always :)

Just wanted to let you know that I was finally able to compile the LCP source code (170kb code - heavy use of Prototypes) without any modification with this beta version.

It didn't compile last September as you can see here:

Thanks, and great job.

A short question: how many people are there that would be willing to pay some money for an updated OGRE engine for PureBasic? I'd donate 40-50 euro for an updated OGRE version that could use shaders and stuff. Are there more people like me? Because then we could maybe give fred some reason =)

Wait a bit longer....

PB team is working on DX9 support.
Once that is done, they can use the latest OGRE releases with Purebasic, without any problems...

PB Ogre has not been yet updated because DX7 / 8 support was dropped from it ;)

I betting we are going to have a very happy Christmas this year, when 4.20 comes out :)

Could you please post a detailed list of what was fixed? :)

Thanks a lot! Purebasic is the king of all languages!

Can someone clarify this 4.2 release......

DX9 - Great :)

But, is the plan that this version also include the updated OGRE ? or maybe 4.3 ?

and is the plan to have FULL OGRE support in 4.3 or 4.3 ?

I'd like to know because I'm currently working on a project that this information could effect quite a bit.

any info will be much appreciated :)
