Is this breach of any license? i dunno. I was just raising the issue just in case.

Hmm another question I have to raise is how he can test Purebasic v4 when he is a Demo on Linux?

From what I can see, the new colored Help file was created from the online
docs from PureBasic.com, so the license wouldn't apply to that anyway, since
it's free and publicly-available information. I see no harm done here.

I edited my post. So the version I downloaded was illegal? I am sorry for the developer of PureBasic if it's illegal; I'll remove PureBasic and download the 3.92 demo.

Well that would be pritty nice of you, however the 3.92 version is a lot behind, maybe you could try the 4.0 demo for Windows with wine, don't know it just wouldn't show the real power of Purebasic for Linux.

The Windows version doesn't run on Wine, nor with CrossOver and neither with Cedega (I'm advocating CrossOver, which allows me to access the commercial versions for free, I bought Cedega and Wine is Open Source)

I "downgraded" to the version 3.92; as I see, it lacks many many features that I tested with the illegal version.. (to be accurate, the illegal version I downloaded was an alpha release)...

Oh man do I have bad luck!
Do you know when an official legal demo of 4.00 for Linux appears?

The linux v4 demo is days away now so you can test it and make your mind up then.

Couldn't wait, so I took my wallet out and bought a new Toshiba latptop and PureBasic for Windows.. and then I saw that I had access to the Linux versions and Mac Os X's too! Kewl
