According to Leviticus God ordered the children of Israel to stone a youth to death for blaspheming.

I don't know what the devil did but it must have been pretty bad if we're to believe God is the good guy.

God's forgiveness is reserved for mankind. Since the devil is not human, but a spritual being, and our concept of what the devil is manifests its self in the evil deeds of mankind, and God has only bestowed forgiveness upon mankind...evil men can be forgiven but the devil can not.
