Yes. No one said anything different as far as I remember.

yes never wanted to say the different. but DoubleDutch dont need to go for localized versions, as a notice in EULA is enough.

Well, I think there's more to it. As I said above there has to be a warning message everytime
the application starts IIRC - that's at least how Microsoft does it (can't remember the name of
the app...).

Again: I'm no lawyer - personally I'd just double check this in order to keep the risk of getting
into trouble as small as possible. I'll see if I can find out more regarding this topic.

sure if he want to sell it for spying employees in cases where it is allowed by contract, yes there has to be a notice to clients, so that the employer gets the possibility at all. but even if DoubleDutch won't add such a feature, he isn't responsible for what a employer is doing with this app.

I will be adding such a "warning your being spied on" feature - but it will be optional. The default state will be on though.

Thanks for all the great comments, this has all helped a lot. :)

I think its not logic that the developer must know about laws on each country.
Thats the user responsability, he must know the law on his country and follow it.
You only need to say something about that in the licence agreement, thats all.

Too many countries in the world to know each case!
