My advice: throw your newspaper away and get your daily news from http://www.prisonplanet.tv instead. After a few weeks of reading the collection of daily news that's selected on that website (news originating from many official sources like Reuters and Associated Press), you may begin to realize that the world is ruled in a much different way than you have always thought.
Kerry or Bush, it's the same deal, and it's going to be BAD.
Better find out...

Hmm ...

Lots of anti-bush sentiment from those not in the US ...

Sounds like "bush-envy" to me

self-awareness?

Good thing we have so many European "experts" here to tell all us Americans how we think, how wrong we are, how stupid we are for electing George Bush, etc. 8O

regardless of who you prefer, it is remarkable how the majority of non-us people think kerry would have done a better job than bush... there must be a reason for that...

i fear that there is somewhat of an inward looking movement in the us, that may damage the world in general, not just economically or environmentally, but socially as well

and, though i hate to say it, with the majority of bush voters, it looks like that is the way the us citizens prefer things to be

hey, that's democracy, so that's fine with me, but please accept and acknowledge the fact that the us is, in the eyes of others, a very powerfull but somewhat nearsighted giant

You really don't get it, do you. We aren't there to take over Iraq, we are there to change the region. Too long have the dictators of old been in power. It is about FREEDOM. You know, the same thing the world did for YOUR COUNTRY not all that long ago.
I'm sorry you are gravly mistaken. :( Here in the UK we don't get spoon fed by any corporate media propaganda, we get the news straight. You say that we are there for freedom, well yes we are in a way but that is not the top reason. There is only one reason and one reason alone the US takes a very big interest in the middle east and that is OIL. There are many many many dictatorships around the world that continue to comit grave acts of human rights abuse but nothing it done about them because we have no interest there. plain and simple. Take Africa for an example, hundreds of years of civil war and genocide and nothing is ever done, why do you think that is?
WE are fighting for THEIR freedom! If anyone thinks we are making money on this deal I'd love to point to the BILLIONS of dollars and thousands of American lives we've already put up..
Hmmm, you see this is the thing Karbon, the US people do not get told this info im sure, who do you think has won all the contracts for the rebuilding of iraq? and who do you think is on the board of directors of those companies? one clue, Bush snr and jr.!

Please don't waffle on about the human cost of the US in the pursuit of freedom, as we (UK) are there too. I have a few friends in the army and me and they just think its nuts doing these things under the guise of freedom when the real truth is about securing oil for the next 50yrs.

About this US hate you are going about, can you really blame people for taking this stance? I personally think the US is a great country but i really do think you have a very poor leader and representative and also i'm afraid many countries other than the US are feeling this way too. Bush is a big joke here in the UK. Believe me the anti-bush feeling is massive here, you should of heard the responses from blairs own party members tonight on tv! Even blair himself wouldn't say last night who he wanted to win or if he was rooting for bush because he knows with the current feeling in this country it could get him booted out next year in our elections.

Who they hell brought this up anyway? <slap>Codemonger</slap> :?

Ah.. Why would I be sarcastic about something like this? It makes absolutely perfect sense for those who know better then to vote, even register to vote. Think about it, it'll come to you :D

[IMHO] none of you get it, it really doesn't matter if the Republicans Won, or the Democrats Won, it really doesn't matter who is commander and cheif of America at all, no matter which way you look at it, America is at war and is going to war, and will not stop going to war, no matter which president sits on the thrown of the beast, which gives us pause if America goes to war regardless of president who is really in control here.

The single highest reason I would have voted Bush would have been that he doesn't support gay/lesbian marriages, infact he is being brave and trying to pass a bill to prevent it forever, doesn't seam brave enough to tackel the abortion issuse though, but perhaps in the next 4 years he may do, if he can put a stop to both of those things within America he has done a good job by my book, and I don't care how many countrys he has/does slays down in the process to do it.

I'm from USA and I voted for Bush for quite a few reasons.

1.) Kerry only switched to a "peace maker" when he saw that there were enough voters who didn't care for Bush. If you saw Kerry's earlier videos, he was in favor of Bush.

2.) I don't support abortion, an unborn child is the same as a child who has been born into this world. If it's living, it has a soul.

3.) I have nothing against gay people but I don't support gay marriages. I believe marriage is for a man and a women, I'm a christian.

4.) I believe the US and other countries would have seen more attacks then what we have, if Bush didn't make a stand.

I could keep going on and on but the truth is, none of us (all nations) have not seen the worse to come yet. I don't know how many of you have taken the time to read and understand the Bible but the "Revolation of Jesus Christ" talks about these days. More wars will happen, the EU will setup a one world government (already there's talk about this), all nations will go against the Jews to remove the name of GOD. Sad times we live in but it won't be long before the King of Kings sits on Davids throne to rule for eternity.

So lets not hate one another for our time is short.

J Baker: Warms my heart to see another who believe how I do, I didn't think they existed in coding forums. we're closer than you and I think, http://www.prophecyclub.com/streaming_audio.htm , http://wnd.com pretty much keep me up with the play of things. but let us not hope for these things, but pray & repent and maybe those things are to be will not be in our life times.

If you are a christian, than you are wrong 8O
In Matthew 6:9,10 you have been told to pray for GOD's KINGDOM to come.
So hope for these things...
