The TBManager updater is only for Alpha and Beta versions. And to update from a prevoius version to the next version beta. Maybe I'll change this in the future, I'm not sure.

I've tried running the installer from PureArea, PureProject and El_Choni's website and every one of them says "Invalid Installation Pack File. Installation Failed." What am I doing wrong here?

UPDATE: errr.. scratch that. I already had a previous install and I was able to update that ^_^

Help! Again!

I've tried this with the betas and the files from purearea, etc... and get the same problem. I'm trying to build my xGrid into a library but Tailbite crashes everytime at the "splitting functions" step. I get the good old Microsoft program crash message and then that's it. Nothing is built.

I have a some enumerations, some structures, some global variables, some procedures and a very few ProcedureDLLs. Those are using "Procedure" and "ProcedureDLL" for the names so the case should be correct.

I do not have a .chm file so I hit escape at that step. The next step is the "splitting functions" and it crashes right there.

Also, "Check For Errors" reports that everything is fine.

What am I doing wrong? I'm running the latest PB (3.94) and running japbe.

Please help >_<

I need some source code to reproduce this behaviour in order to fix it.

http://www.bradan.net/downloads/Linux-Tailbite.tar.gz

But you need to install purebasic through the environment variables method.

I will hide now in a corner of the forum again. And don't forget: it's a very early alpha version.

[EDIT]
Yeees, nobody read this.

I read it but I dont use the Linux version. Maybe its better to open a new thread for this as this thread is very long and maybe out of date?!

:P Dont be so shy!!

The worst case that may appear is that we first ignore, and after all, we hang you. Maybe some ppl are inspired by the movie SAW II!? :)

If I have a working installation of PB on my (atm) not existing Linux machine, I will maybe try your TailBite. :D

Cheers and good luck.

Yes. When it's bug free, at least.
