A delightful young fellow from France
Who writes sourcecode at every chance
Made a show-stopping bug,
Grinned and said with a shrug,
"The distractions of youthful romance."

What platform are you using? Have you tried using threads?Phlos wrote:One more time, no network library with blocking socket OR asynchronous callback ?![]()
We still have to do Delay(100) in main network loop, to prevent stealing whole CPU, in a 2015 language ?
****** joke.

Re: PureBasic 5.40 LTS beta 9 is out !
I'm coming late to the LTS Beta party - due to other commitments.
Awesome work by the Purebasic Team! Seriously impressive
Production release of my main project is built on 5.2x LTS - compiles and runs error free with 5.40B9 (30K+ lines, 10 source files). Looking forward to more testing and investigating new features.
(Edit:- 5.40Beta10 also)
And of course - my special Best Wishes to Fred and the new Mrs Fred

Re: PureBasic 5.40 LTS beta 10 is out !
I'm sorry, but fixing this bug with OnErrorCall() before releasing version 5.40 final would be very important. I absolutely need a working OnErrorCall() function in one of my programs, which I have released to the public, and which I would like to maintain using PB 5.40 LTS.In the first post of this thread, Fred wrote:Beta 10 is out and should iron out the lastest important fixes before the release.

No bug. Works perfectly.Little John wrote:...bug with OnErrorCall().
