Amazing work, PB team! Especially excited for this release because of the accessibility bugfixes
Hopefully Miniaudio support for the sound library will come soon now that all these pesky bugs have been squashed.

Hello,
Windows Installers are not signed. :/
Working as expected, but WindowsDefender SmartScreen is nagging.
Thank you.

It's intentional :

beta 9 is available and is focusing on doc improvement (english only for now). As a side note we dropped codesign support for Windows package as the price went crazy for this (basically from 200 euros for 3 years to 450 euros per year, which is a total rip-off for nearly no advantage as AV still flags the execs as malware regardless of the signing state)

I submitted the release packages to Microsoft for analyzing and it seems to be OK now. Could you try again ? (here the Defender Smart Screen disappeared).

Do you mean without paying to code-sign the exe? If so, can you please explain how this is done? Thanks.

Yes, without paying for a cert. I just followed the Option 1 here and it worked a threat:

Could you download the demo package and see if it trigger the Defender smart screen ?

I also had the Microsoft SmartScreen warnings before.
I re-downloaded the 2 windows x86 and x64 packages and I can confirm that the security SmartScreen warnings have disappeared
submit a file for malware analysis did the trick. I've personally used it for my apps and the analysis usually takes less than half a day.

You mean "treat" there. "Threat" has a malware meaning, and in this topic that's not a good thing. Hehe.
I downloaded the zip archive of the demo to install, and when I ran the exe, I only got the yellow UAC prompt about an unknown publisher, which is good. I did NOT get the blue "Don't run" warning message. So, that's good to know for my own apps! Thanks for telling me/us.
