Menu: Same here, complete white.

It seems, that some 3D-Cards don't support all Blending modes (for example 5,15).

What blending-modes do you use?

And a other very big bug:

The enemie-Sprites are rubish, also when i move the ship up/down.

Can you add a snapshot-function? (grabsprite/Savesprite) and i can show you my problem.

Edit: Menu works now, but you forgot the Shoot-Light-Ship-up-Sprite to change.

About the rubbish Enemies/ship: When i choos 16-Bit, i can see the player-Sprite right and also the the asteroids are right. But the next diffrent-sprite in this field is rubbish again (it seems, that the system load the sprite in the diffrent size)

A note about the fire-balls, which jumps out of the botton: When you play this the first time, you can't see, that this will happen and then you lost 100% a live.

This is a unfair level design.

When you make a smoke-fontane out of the button and the let the fire balls jump, the player can react without learning the complete level.

EDIT2:
What kind of files do you compress (pictures) bmp, png, jpg?

Maybe the png-plugin makes problems...

Ok, graphics and gameplay are allright now!

Very hard level !!!

Anyway the sound still keeps comming all garbled... Just squeaks on my speakers !!!

I've tested the mp3 with winamp and they play fine!
Seems to be an in-game problem!

Or a codec problem... Are u using MCI or movie commands?
I need to check this out!

Those artifacts look similar to (but not quite as bad as) effects I get on many games/demos with my NVIDIA RIVA TNT. I also get a snow effect with software using powerhouse graphics approaches.

And indeed with this game.

The game, BTW, looks like it could be awesome. Great graphics (through the screen noise).

For me, too hard too soon. So I wouldn't be a buyer, graphics aside.

A reasonable games pyschology is to let the players win (after a struggle) and feel good about themselves for doing so.

I think it's a game like 80's game, who you have to learn to progress... a lot of games today are finished on 3/4 hours... i prefer games who resist.
But it's not impossible, i finish the first level on 2 minutes without lost a life :D
and then how to be glad to win if one win immediately...

Can i have the .BMP of the ship/Asteroid to play with it. Your program is the only program, thats makes problems. Maybe i found a solution.
