I read recently that nicotine tends to increase testosterone in most men which is our main survival and repair hormone.
Chewing tobacco actually reduced testosterone.
Of course, nicotine is also an easy stimulant.
The main come away is never stop searching for what your body needs to survive and flourish.

It is sad to read Blendman's blog where he felt no relief in sight.
Yes it's really tragic and there usually isn't any fix, I also have friend along the road who's also suffering from CFS badly, she was an aerial silk performer / acrobat and a keen surfer, she was always super active and now she's bed ridden and emotionally shut down, swallowed up by grief and doesn't even want to communicate. Some people really can't take it and I don't blame them either. I found it hard to keep a positive disposition and I hated it that all I could do was stare at the same code for a year and a half.

You just need to google Nicotine and long covid, there's a lot of research going into it now
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC9845100/

I really wish there was a solution to all the sufferers of CFS

@skywalk

I am curious to read the source of the data you mentionned about nicotine : could you create a specific subject and publish the link ? (no need to waste your time by adding a full presentation, just the link).

Concerning blendman, I thank again demivec for the message.

We talked about his disease, 14 years ago.

I cannot lay myself about health personnal datas. But for the public utility, be careful about strong music listened through a too important volume. There is not only the ear which is damaged forever : hear too much music (or, more generally, some noise) through a too big volume can, very slowly, destroy everything between the ear and the brain.

Unfortunately, I am a speed reader, and it was many articles from the usual googling and AI search results.
You could reproduce the results with Men's Health, craftmensclinic, WebMD, Wikipedia, etc.
You must draw your own conclusions from the data along with personal experience.
I decided to test my testosterone levels to confirm my body's ability to fight infection and repair muscle.

R.I.P Blendman!

I personally don't want my death to be announced here, I like the idea of people are living for ever in this forum, e.g. srod or ts-soft, no one knows nothing, so they HAVE TO be still alive somewhere.
