Agreed, I feel exactly the same way. I use https://DuckDuckGo.com which admittedly is fed by the Microsoft crowd, so therefore not very much better than Google, when it comes to corporate misdeeds and manipulative practices, but I find the results to be better.Randy Walker wrote: Fri Aug 30, 2024 6:47 am Yes I know Google -- THE evil of all evils and I hate them.

That’s why I started to use ungoogled-chromium as browser . it is the same browser with google chrome but without spy. You may use https://translate.google.com/?sl=ru&tl=en&op=websites with any browser and no need for a plugin
I use Waterfox, branch of firefox, but 64 bit Only!!
https://www.waterfox.net/
and for chrome alternative I use Comodo Dragon 32/64 Bit
https://www.comodo.com/home/browsers-to ... rowser.php
Also a very cool tip I missed earlier. THANKS!!!Erolcum wrote: Fri Aug 30, 2024 10:27 am I think firefox also likes spying. They make a firefox without spying , they call it as librewolf https://librewolf.net/
The ONLY plugin I use in all my browsers is "umatrix" available for Chrome, Firefox and all offshoots including MS Edge, which is a variant of chrome. Highly recommend. Can learn about it here:Erolcum wrote: Fri Aug 30, 2024 9:44 am You may use https://translate.google.com/?sl=ru&tl=en&op=websites with any browser and no need for a plugin
I used to like Firefox but it suddenly stopped loading *any* page I tried to go to and could not find solution, which is what led me to the Waterfox variant.Lord wrote: Fri Aug 30, 2024 10:10 am Hi!
