Sympathy for your loss. I almost went the same way. They put me on KEYTRUDA immediately after my brain surgery and that was 6 years ago this coming May. Lung cancer metastasized into my brain. They pulled "a mass" out of my brain about the size of the average door knob and left a cavity in my scull that same size. Smoking is Baad. Stop if you do. It's baad. I'm still reaching to grab a smoke from my top pocket almost every day. Near impossible to quit. It took a brain surgery for me to finally say no more. Smoking is Baad.

Yes, it would seem so. It's funny because in the sections I quoted it includes their names.

I had my suspicions when I saw another recent post by Randy in a different thread just prior to reading your answer to my riddle. I'm going to edit my post to hide some of my goof.

Very recent scientific studies say nicotine helps fighting (some) BAD virus infections…
I'm not a medical doctor but give it as my informed opinion that it's safer, easier and more effective to use Ivermectin or Hydroxychloroquin for treating many viruses.
It's interesting how drugs for malaria (a “protozoan„) are also effective for many other diseases, including cancer (most ppl seem to ignore that cancer can be caused by a “virus„)
Some scientists think that viruses/bacteria are just waste/waste-eaters; just consequences of something toxic that made cells sick………

I had forgotten to smoke. And, now I read these pages, as if I was nnear 40 years younger...

In a young period I knew nothing about tobacco...

I do not know why I forgot to smoke... However I smoked a lot and since a long time... I also near swore myself not to stop...
I did not do a substitute... I just read a lil thing on wikipedia, and... I have forgotten to smoke. I hope that God will forgive me for my stop. Anyway, I will smoke tomorrow again, or after... That is what I said many times. But on each times, I forgot to smoke...

I ll give a lil word when I do it again...

When I was young (about 11), I bought two packs of cigarettes; just to show off... Blowing smoke out of my nose: what a sight!!
I didn't smoke both packs. I gave them away. I didn't like the taste of smoking.
In short, I escaped that.
