What are you talking about? It's a matter of fact that PS7 natively supports PNG.
But, what I don't know is, whether PS Elements supports it.
Look out for a plugin called "Png.8bi", if this is not there, you really can't load PNGs.
Edit: You're from Alaska? Now, at least one person in this forum that is surely freezing more than me.

Har har, and yes I am, how did you know? There is a Juneau, Ohio too... Or something like that...And, it's not freezing up here, just around the 20s. Plus, we got our first snow last night

1/2 inch...
Thank for the tip, I'll look at the plugin. How good is the compression ratio compared to GIF? And isnt it a loss compression?

PNG is lossless (no info lost), the compression ratio isn't super, not as good as jpeg for large images. Although you can save your images as 8 bit instead of 24 bit. So that would help in size.

And until you learn to truly serve others by providing maximum value in a more humble spirit, Purebasic will always be "Fred's 'It's always about me' programming language" and will never evolve to a widespread preferred programming language for serious programmers, you can $bank$ on it.

whoa ! easy now, Fred is just joking around. Don't take it personally, and besides when's the last time you got to talk to Bill Gates from Microsoft and complain or ask for things in Visual Basic

Wrong. PureBasic belongs to Fred. He can do as he pleases.
Just because we paid for PureBasic doesn't mean we own it.

@Codemonger
Fred ain't no Bill Gates. My point is Purebasic is sort of garage/ghetto when the creator responds to a request for a feature with: "I don't like GIF". The very fact that Fred responds to posts show the small, bedroom programmer language Purebasic is. Compounded with the way in which Fred responded for a feature request, "I don't like it" shows Purebasic is a small language.
@PB
Your tongue is so far up Fred's *** that it blinds you to the fact that I simply asked about support for GIF and got a true Frenchy snob unprofessional reply. No board, no meeting of programmers to discuss future support of GIF, no survey to see the demand for such support, just an unprofessional snobby ego-tistical remark.

@Codemonger
Fred ain't no Bill Gates.
I think Fred is on his way making a better programming language then
Billionaire Gates has dreamed of. Runs fast and more stable.
Oh ya, gif support would be cool.
