Take a look on the museum and download PB 2.00 to see all the way we went during this journey

. May be safer to install in a VM

For fun I tried it in a VM, It was indeed a great journey.
Who could have predicted that it would come to this! It must remind you a lot of good memories
I was able to compile Window.pb example with the cmd line but not from the promising IDE.
Do I open a topic to report a bug ?

..Some of us (me) are in PB since version 1,5 , Amiga Only then.. and Live all that .. "grewing Up with PB" and solving everyday tasks/problem with PB

Thinking all that happen is impressive, and nostalgic at the same time

Thanks for Your hard work!
I'm amazed of how well the C backend works!
Sitting on project with some pretty hairy structures and lists weaved into each other so I will probably wait before I try the new update.

I remember well how excited I was when I bought PureBasic for my Amiga in 1999 or if it was 2000, I was so impressed and I had such big hopes that it would be better than both Blitz Basic and Amos Professional.
Today PureBasic is lightyears ahead.
A truly impressive journey. Thanks for all dedication and hard work, Fred + team. I love Your work!

I still have the original Purebasic Professional v3.3 from TOPOS with printed manual. It's been a long time.

That's heaps better optimization, my abominable utf16 with surrogate pairs and full case folding strcmp() is now a hair breath from CompareMemoryString() which only does simple case.
Strcmp(s3,s4) = 65 ms for 1,000,000 iterations
CompareMemoryString(@s3,@s4) = 62 ms for 1,000,000 iterations

That's a pretty amazing list of fixed bugs!
But... wait... you are cheating
Anyway, thanks for (a little less) fixed bugs!

Merci Fred and the rest of the Team.
I'm happy — and grateful to you — that you're still hard at work keeping PB running on all its 3 pistons. Or is that 4 ?
Let me check that Debug List again.
