Fred - Le forum français veut te voir (French forum)

Hi all, so what's following will be in french and sorry for those doesn't understand french at all

GPI your right but Fred is French and i think he speak very well French
I hope he will spend a minimum of his time with the french scene.

A lot of french guys on french forum doesn't speak at all english and i think it's the same on german one.


Fred, oui celà serait bien que tu passes un peu sur le forum français, car on a ramé Cederavic, Le soldat inconnu, Pierre, Flype et moi-même pour faire en sorte que ce forum tienne la route et qu'il ait une audience. Aujourd'hui ça tourne bien et on aime Pure. La communaté française s'agrandit grace à ce forum. Ce que l'on ne trouve pas, on vient le demander sur la scène internationale.

Je sais que tu n'as quère de temps, on ne demande pas que tu répondes à tout, loin s'en faut !

Régis, je me suis trompé dans le vote , j'ai mis qu'il passait régulièrement ...

I think, that fred hasn't too much time to go in all Forums. So the English would be the best solution, because more speek english than french.

Also fred is never in the german forum (but this has other reasons...)

I read the German forum, and also André, so we send the bug reports to Fred.

I think i know Fred the best of the users here, i visited him also in Paris couple of months ago, we drunk liters of beer , and spend a lot of time together on chat, to code on the Visual Designer, test new compilers etc...
And i can tell you, i dont know how he manage to do all the work he does ... Its just unbelievable to see him working on his computer, the assembler code flying over the screen I know he's not always the fastest in replying to an e-mail...but...
I know you must let Fred do his work the way he wants, and when he want's, so he keeps enjoy coding PureBasic. Don't force hime to do things by voting. Let him decide if he got time to visit the French forum And don't get mad if he don't find the time to read yet another forum please.

Berikco , bien que je ne maitrise pas l'anglais je devine le sens de tes propos , et je ne peux que les approuver .
Il ne faudrait pas que notre démarche soit ressentie comme un ultimatum,
ce n'est pas de ça qu'il s'agit.
Nous voulions seulement signaler qu'un forum français actif existe , que nous ne sommes pas forcément en mesure de poster sur ce forum pour signaler un bug , ou une amélioration du logiciel , et plutôt que chacun envoie un mail à Fred pour exposer son problème , nous pensions qu'il était plus confortable pour lui de venir sur le forum , de choisir les points qui méritent une réponse . ça me semble plus efficace et moins dérangeant pour lui que de recevoir des dizaines de mails qui traiteraient du même sujet .Sur le forum , la synthèse est déjà en partie faite .

I put a vote to permit all the french coder to give what he thinks because there are some person who doesn't speak english very well

it's just an information
we don't want force him to go on the french forum but if we mail him all the bug we find in PB, it's impossible to manage it.
It's more easily to wacht message on the forum, isn't it ?
and we watch ours opinions were take in consideration. it's important.

Without counting that the French community having paid the same price as the british it is entitled to the same service not??

But just because someone speaks English, it doesn`t make them British..
They could be Australian, American, Canadian etc.
English might not even be their first language

Yes, it's true, but what about all users who can't speak english ? They should speak english and if not it's their problem ?
The truth is that the english forum is considered as the official one !
And i think it must be ! That's the better solution for all pb users.
Some (many) of the members of this forum are very good coders/debuggers/reporters. If the english forum doesn't exists, Purebasic product may not be as good as it is now... No way for the french pb users to say the contrary. So, thanx for all english members

BUT, as the french forum exists and is really active, and as Fred is french, it should be very nice to see him sometimes there. For now, some of the french members oftenly report here the questions we are wondering about. But it would be so coooool to see you (Fred) at home, in France, sometimes, even once a month on our lovely forum ( it's important to notice that the spirit on our forum is a subtle mixture of learning, serious programming and fun ).
But perhaps, as Fred is the busiest man of the world, we can comfort ourselves in just inviting Fred for example once a month to a realtime interview in french and takes this way our conclusions.

And now some notes for french users in french :

bon les gars je viens de donner mon avis sur la question comme vous pouvez le voir.
Pour ceux qui ne comprennent pas l'anglais j'ai simplement expliqué dans le 1er paragraphe à quel point le forum anglais et ses membres est important pour toute la communauté et pour le futur de purebasic et qu'on ne remets pas çà en cause.
Et dans le 2eme je dis grosso modo que c quand meme compliqué pour ceux qui ne parle pas anglais. et ce malgré le fait que certains d'entre nous reportont quelques une des questions qu'on se pose sur le forum francais ici. Et donc que ce serait quand meme le plus sympatique des clins d'oeil que le voir de temps en temps chez nous.
Enfin, etant donné qu'on ne pourra peut etre rien changer au fait que Fred est l'homme le plus occupé du monde (lol) on pourrait peut-etre organisé une interview tout les mois (préparée, structurée, et en direct live). Qu'en pensez vous les gars ?

Sachez quand meme que cette proposition est une idée que j'ai retenu du site web de DarkPrograms... où l'idée a été déjà été évoquée...

I think Fred should(1 visit per week, it is not enormous) be come because lot of Frenchs read English but write very bad, like me.

Flype > on va d'abord attendre la reaction de Fred, savoir ce qu'il peut faire en fonction de son emploi du temps et à près éventuellment, on verra avec lui ce qu'on fait.

Yes, Flype, we don't want Fred goes on the french forum all the week. I think he can't spend a lot of time on the forum (french or english or other language)
but after, Fred comes regulary on the french forum once a month. it's simply and we are very happy when he comes.
We just want see Fred a short time a month or more if it's possible (but I don't think it's possible)

The french forum just give his opinion. nothing else. We don't want to force fred to go on the french forum OK !
It's just an opinion and Fred could answer what he want. We respect him. If he says : "I can't go on the french forum becaus I can't spend time on the french forum". we respect. we just want to know what he could do.

But please understand me and what i tried to say.
I always saw nationalisms as a nonsense.
Fred is french, why? Because he was born in a terrain called France?. Ok it is an accident.
On Earth are people, not french, american, russian, etc. but people. And individuals is who change things, but not Russia o USA, or England or ... only individuals who just was born and are here.

Please lets understand all of us between anybody to anybody. Lets talk all the same language, even we have to renounce to our native language (which is another accident) forever.

And lets try to have a common PB Forum.

Most of us don't want fred on our french forum because he is french, we want him to visit us once a month, or more if he can because he speaks french. I understand english but i'm not all the french comunity... People like Comtois don't speak english and need a french support.. That's what we would like to receive...
