Hi Pedro

I'm sure there are a lot of developers that would like an enhanced Message Requester, just as there are many who are happy with it as-is.

You might be new to PB but that doesn't mean you can't decide to define a different Message Requester!

I don't know why people would jump on your back for showing a bit of enthusiasm, I for one wish you good luck.

I very rarely find the Message Requester does not fit my purpose but on that rare occasion I just make a bespoke one specific to the app - it is, at the end of the day, just another Window.

I'm afraid I don't have time to contribute to the coding but I hope someone can step forward. As a project, it's surely a great way to learn more about coding with PB.

Lots of stuff in the forum already if you expand your searches.

It's not hard to code a box like that, just do some work, but I'm sure you can...

Oh man, don't be like that.

What happened was that you wished for things that were (a) already available, (b) not possible, or (c) wished because of your lack of coding logic. Reasons were given for all of these to explain why such wishes were not doable, but you chose to take offense instead. That's not our fault. Contrary to what others may think, it's NOT all about ego here, and a lot of us are willing to help when you're in need.

You're new to PureBasic; so learn the basics of it, search this forum, and see how it all works before wishing for things. Cheers!

Also the possibility to hide behind a pseudonym or to act as a completely different person than you actually are.
As long as we don't get insulted, it's OK.
There were even users here who appeared under two identities.
The farewell of one was then strongly regretted, without noticing that only one avatar was abandoned and so the other forum members were sold for stupid.

Or the other, who is only insulting and cannot write a sentence without faecal expression.
In real life, he's probably a pretty miserable person.

Like any wish in life, just make it, forget about it, and hope it comes true.

So, drop your clearly-outlined request into the feature-request forum, and let the team decide. Discussing and arguing its merits only clutters the thread. And a critical preamble on the current deficiencies isn't going to help either.

It's a great forum with great members and a very diligent team.
