well, first off i'd like to say i love your editor. however... i am having a small problem with it. when i include the file manifest, (only a few of the items are filled in) my executable just crashes as soon as it's run. the executables only seem to crash on my home computer (winXP), i can't remember the error off the top of my head (i'm not on my home computer now) but it said something about readprocessmemory. anyhow, for the time being i've just disabled the manifest, but it is a rather cool feature.

When you use one of the features of compiler-options/Advanced (Version info, include Manifest, Multiple Icons), jaPBe will add this resources with ResHacker. But on some sytems ResHacker create a invalid Exe, when you don't add a icon at the General-Tab of the compiler-options.
So please try to add a icon and then activate "enable XP support"+"Include Manifest". I will add a Warning-Message.

there is one other small feature i would like to request for JaPBe, when you double-click on a pb file to open it, and JaPBe isn't open at the time, the file is opened with it, however all of the files that i had previously had open are not re-opened. it would be cool if you could add a function that would cause it to re-open the previously open files, as well as opening the file you clicked on. i keep accidentally clearing my open files, i know it's all my fault, but it is a bit annoying having to re-open 6-7 files when i accidently dbl-click a different file.

yes, i do know that i can save a file-list, but i still think this feature could be usefull. with the project i'm currently working on, i have a minimum of 5 files open at any given time, but i'm often opening up more than just those five, so saving a file-list for all the combo's i have open would be a pain in the neck.

Not for download. I have only have some changed in the sourcecode and test it. The Versionnummer of jaPBe is created by the #pb_compiledate, and in the Advanced-Options of ToDo2 i add a %japbever%, so the version of the inoffical version is added.gnozal wrote:@GPI
