It will be very nice if Fred can also attach release notes because i want to know what kind of bugs are fixed and if we have more new bugs like the AddPackFile function (since PB 5.42)

So have any one the official release note for PB 5.45 LTS?
Is the AddPackFile bug fixed or do we must still wait ?

I just pushed silently a new update to 5.45 LTS to fix the touchbar issue on new MacBook Air and the nasty DebugOutput problem on Windows. Don't hesitate to redownload it if you use Windows or OS X ! Thanks

If the default key 'NSFunctionBarAPIEnabled' is set, it must be deleted.

Terminal

defaults delete -app "/Users/Michael/Applications/Purebasic v5.45 (X64)/PureBasic.app" NSFunctionBarAPIEnabled

Don´t forget to change the folder

I can confirm the fix in the Windows version for both x86 and x64. Thank you!

As an aside:
In the x64 version, the subdirectory "Examples\Sources\" contains several EXE files. Is this intended?

It doesn't crash anymore on MacBook Pro's with TouchBar.



BTW: First version of 5.45 LTS crashed, but the version downloaded today works.

I have just pushed a new 5.45 LTS version for Windows signed with new certificates. Could you give it a shot and see if everything is alright ? Especially if you encountered false positive from PB installation (it will not affect the generated programs). Thanks !

New x86 windows 10 defender marks as not safe when downloading

PureBasic also provides a Long Term Support (LTS) version, which gets bug fixes during 2 years without any API changes. When developping a big project, it can be easier to stick to LTS and only switch the compiler every two years. This LTS version will be supported until
September 2017.
