Methinks that you actually missed the first video in this thread, and meant the first video in the KOMBUCHA 101 playlist.

I'm not trained to diagnose deficiencies by sight, I'm more of a neighborhood medicine man who can treat things like pinkeye, herpes, or food poisoning to save expensive trips to the ER. I'll take your word about her condition which has nothing to do with the topic.
Any proof this stuff does something? It could just as well spike sodium or sugar and cause life-threatening disease, or "bad proteins" "bad fats" "bad carbohydrates".
Again it seems that you did not watch the first video which should answer that question and those fears.
A little something on diet since we want to talk healthy: Most produce in the world has had nutrition breed out of it and often times genetically altered to potentially cause cancers. These days it's only slightly safer than meat and heavily processed stuff.
I totally agree with you. So I'll see you and raise.
It does matter they are selling you healthy routines..

I didn't watch much I already know enough about dieting just from researching calories and protiens years back. If you know you're not suppose to exceed 45g of sugar a day you know more than most people it seems..

Betcha it goes up even more.
Earlier this year I was getting them for $32 a 2 pound bag.

Yesterday I processed my first batch of kimchi, and this morning I got my first whiff of fermenting kimchi.
Now I grok why some people complain about the smell.

My first batch of kimchi was definitely worth the smell, and for my second batch I've figured out how to better control that first couple of days smell that seem to mainly emanate from the radishes. For that second batch, instead of Napa cabbage I used Bok Choy, 2/3 the amount of pepper flakes, and liquid aminos instead of fish sauce. I hope that it'll turn out even better than my first try.

I recently learned about the high ellagic acid component of raspberries. Combined with the other polyphenols that occur naturally in kombucha, Raspberry Hibiscus booch, a flavor that I'm currently working on, is a powerhouse of antioxidant goodness.

A meal of spicy kimchi and kombucha would be a wonderfully healthy change of pace for most people. A homemade meal of it is way under two dollars in cost. But if I had to go out in NYC, I'm thinking it could set me back at least $37, once I added in tax and tip. http://probiotickimchi.com/
