"may refer"
As cowardly as globalist corporations like Micro$oft are, they will err on the side of the authorities, to prevent any government bullying.
Because I don't maintain a relationship with an attorney, I would not personally feel safe fooling with Vista 10 until I did.
Take note that they've recently changed their publicly posted "privacy" agreement terms, and have added "on OneDrive" to the text "or files in private folders".
Now the terms do not seem so egregious.
However that addendum was not in the Vista 10 installation EULA that users have previously agreed to, so there is absolutely nothing preventing them from enforcing the original agreement.
"That privacy statement applies to everything you do.
Oh, and if you live in the US, by using the Windows software, you agree to arbitration, and never to sue Microsoft for stealing your data."

I feel a bit badly for those of you who need an antenna to connect with reality, but whatever it takes.
TI, I do suggest using a chapeau of some sort when going out in public.
So glad that I have a direct connection to the most high, and don't need any type of physical aid to interpret truth.
Oh, it's protection!GeoTrail wrote:Nobody's gonna read my mind. They can't handle the truth hehe
My bad, thanks.

I don't need an antenna. I'm all wired up. Better response time

Truth needs no interpretation. That's clearly your problem; too much interpretation.heartbone wrote:...don't need any type of physical aid to interpret truth.

Once again off topic, so this reply is likewise in poor form.TI-994A wrote:Truth needs no interpretation. That's clearly your problem; too much interpretation.heartbone wrote:...don't need any type of physical aid to interpret truth.
However I can not resist educating another member who insists on being a low vibration individual, one who consistently resorts to personal attacks.
Interpret is a verb
interpretation is a noun.
Grok that before you troll again TI.

1) The topic is "Re: Windows 10 "phones home" thousands of times each day". And all of your responses are off topic. At least one other member think that you are a bad forum citizen based on a private message that I received complaining about your behaviour. You responding in juvenile fashion is not good.TI-994A wrote:1. We're in the Off Topic forum.![]()
2. Get a dictionary!
2) Nowhere in this thread have I presented an "interpretation" on the aforementioned topic. Your misrepresentations (lies) are tiresome.
What I have done is to report facts.
Overlooked yet important facts like the OneDrive addition to the public statement.
Now be nice and if you want to post off topic then start a more appropriate thread.

Re: Windows 10 "phones home" thousands of times each day
Windows 10 PC’s phone home even after privacy hardening
"It is likely that tools that programs that offer more options than DisableWinTracking reduce the numbers further.
The takeaway from the test -- which requires verification -- is that Windows 10 will connect to remote sites regularly even if the operating system has been configured for privacy and the computer is idle.
It is unclear why Windows 10 makes that many connections even when idle."
"You can select which level of diagnostic and usage data to provide, but some diagnostic data is vital to the operation of Windows and cannot be turned off." - windows.microsoft.com
Like most, I love the internet, but I am 100% not comfortable with a PC OS (like the Chromebook's) that requires a internet connection to function normally.
Perhaps you could be nice and share your opinion on that preference?

Use it, or don't use it; it's your choice. But whining's not going to solve anything.heartbone wrote:Perhaps you could be nice and share your opinion on that preference?

You conveniently left out Windows 2000 in that list... like everyone does when they post it.heartbone wrote:Anyhow, I just figured out why Microsoft named the previous version Windows® 8.1 instead of 9.

Because you had the audacity to project your mistake as "You conveniently", I won't go easy on you concerning your ignorance about this otherwise trivial matter.

Naah, I'll go easy but next time watch your tone.
That was two wrong insinuations in one quick post. You are pretty good at that aren't you?
So if you can't figure how the information above validates the observation captured in my unique list, have someone else help you.
[sarcasm]Thanks for the valuable information about my OS choice.[/sarcasm] Duh.TI-994A wrote:Use it, or don't use it; it's your choice. But whining's not going to solve anything.heartbone wrote:Perhaps you could be nice and share your opinion on that preference?
I understand why you evaded the question about internet dependent PC operating systems, it's obvious that you take your own advice about not whining seriously.
