You can use Fmod : you will find an example recording/playing from the mic (+save to a wav file + reverb fx) in the "SamplePurebasic\Record" directory.
i ve a crappy example using winamp dsp plugin wich allow to modify the sound from the mic, for those who are interessted ...

I can't find such directory on my HDD.
Any link to the web ?
