I don't want to hurry like the previous release and want to be sure it will be ok. The last release nightmare is still frightening me

Did you adress the stuff i stated a few weeks ago (Ogre, Ogg and Movie), since I didn't recognize your beloved "Fixed" statement?

Yes, OGRE issues should be fixed. About Movie and Ogg, it's not done for now.

Fred, could you perhaps set up an announcement mailing list to all the
registered users, to save all this reloading?

It'd save forum bandwidth...

okay,

so you have x amount of users refreshing the forum/website looking for updates, so you deside to send out a news letter about the release ( which I aprove of ), so you'll have x+refresh/bandwidth=more
