What's wrong with WebBasic? Or PureWebBasic, to retain the link with PureBasic? Or even PureWeb?

So it's a combination of PureBasic and JavaScript.

How about PB&J? :)

@Edit: Corrected language reference to 'JavaScript' instead of 'Java'. I still think it works. Thanks Fred.

Old bugs good, new bugs bad! Updates are evil: might fix old bugs and introduce no new ones.

SpiderBasic surprise me first
The apllication obviously and after the name

At the begining i think to a joke...but when i have see it's FRED the creator of the thread, i say to me : "FRED is all..... except a "rigolo" (excuse me not how translate  )
For the humor...FRED surely the last of the class in shool...me i'm the first

Why spider ???? Aaaaah ok !!! I say to me
It's a good name i think and very original. 8) "Fred s'est laché sur ce coups la" (Cannot translate )

But for better stick with his big brother, why not :

PureWeBasic.. :D

Like that....all is in one word :D
"Ca la péte hein !!" (It's cool no !!!)

FRED for the right of this name it's 2000 $....or a full day head at head with KCC  (perhaps the night if too much bla bla bla  )
Sometime, in the life, it's important to take good decision :? , and even 2000 $ feel not expensive, against all a day with the furuncle of the forum

Using a sexual innuendo as a product name is never a good idea.
How is the name 'Monkey' a sexual innuendo? I understand what your getting at, as I have
also read the line in question, but the product name doesn't automatically mean anything sexual.

What about Python? You don't automatically think Monty Python.

With some of the insane content filtering going on with ISPs in the UK for anything remotely sexual, it is better to play it safe. Using a name that can also be a sexual innuendo comes off as juvenile and sophomoric, no matter how good the product may be.

Because you spank it.
I compile using 5.31 (x86) on Win 7 Ultimate (64-bit).

I wasn't even thinking that. So that is a double innuendo. I was thinking what many people teach their little kids and have for ages... Boys have turtles and girls have monkeys.

And instead of the slogan, "Feel the Pure Power", it
will now become: "Feel your power of your Balls!"
