Only those who are stupid enough to partake in it will get hurt. It's not like it hurts us normal users of the forum since we can just avoid those threads?

Actually it could solve it self since those who uses energy on their ego in this forum are more likely to leave when the result of such a "war" hurts it. No point locking every thread? If they want to fight then let them?
Exactly, and they're usually hilarious to read!

O/P is being too hard on themselves, it's not like they pointed out facts, or criticized an illogical belligerent user or users, so no harm done..

Everyone just remember the logic:
  • nukes can destroy a continent
  • EMP can take ones power out
  • If you've never finished a software project, graduated computer academics, or worked in engineering or even entry level support, you can still still give your insights on what it's like to, based on what you read on the internet, and even argue with people who have..
Also remember:
  • If what you say is criticized you can bend logic to be right, and if that doesn't work, use ignore and do the equivalent to calling the more intelligent user a poo poo head. Other primitive thinkers will follow you because convenience is everything when it comes to lazy "truth"..
  • Bored sensationalism is right, history and science are wrong.. Except when it's not you sensationalizing then just wing it and use calling them a "troll" as a back up plan..
It's really all about learning new ways here on PB 8)

And remember the tried and true:
  • It takes one to know one.
  • Misery loves company.
  • As crazy as the day is long.
  • Actions speak louder than words.
  • Hit every ugly branch falling out of the tree.
  • All dressed up and nowhere to go.
  • All talk and no action.
  • All that glitters is not gold.
  • Stupid is as Stupid does.
  • Always a bridesmaid and never the bride.
  • As dense as a London fog.
  • As useful as a lead balloon.
  • If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.
